STARTS MAY 29 (TBA) See the Rolling Stones as they've never been seen before! Filmed at the famed Beacon Theatre in New York City in Autumn 2006, Martin Scorsese assembled a legendary team of cinematograohers to capture the raw energy of this legendary band.
The official site has a trailer. I like Scorsese's films - havent seen them all though. My fav. has to be The Departed. And the clip to Michael Jackson's Bad has to be a top 25 music video of all time IMHO.
Paul sorted our tickets to see the U23d film at Imax in April. Im really looking forward to that. I enjoy the Imax viewing experience. But im not sure if Shine A Light is really needed on the huge/large/enormo screen. Id be happy just seeing it at an old movie theatre like the ones i used to go to as a kid - especially the Regent Theatre in Wollongong. Crap seats, crap screen, crap sound, crap staff, no parking, expensive food. Actually, fuck it - bring on Imax!
Heres a funny screen grab from the official site. Looks like X-tina's having a good time. But Mick?? Man - she was pregnant at the time. And you are triple her age. You could be her grandfather.
